MK19 EVO/G260 regulatorkit for Cold Water Kit
Stellar Breathing Performance, Outstanding Reliability
Scubapro has released its latest MK19 EVO first stage and G260 primary second stage as a set of dual cold-water regulators aimed at technical divers.
The Cold Water Kit includes:
- Two MK19 EVO first stages
- Two G260 second stages
And a long-and short-hose combo. (210cm and 64 cm)
The new MK19 EVO is substantially smaller and lighter than its predecessor and features an air-balanced diaphragm designed to deliver consistent airflow regardless of depth or tank pressure. An environmentally sealed chamber prevents water, pollutants, silt and other debris from entering the chamber and freezing or fouling the internal mechanism. The dry chamber is equipped with a double spring, making it more compact and more reliable, according to the manufacturer.
Two opposing high-pressure ports allow the first stage to be oriented either upwards or downwards, to give divers extra options for hose routing and tank-pod transmitter connections. The swivel turret has four radial high-flow, low-pressure ports and one axial 'super high-flow' LP port for additional hose routing options. The Cold Water Kit includes two DIN 300 versions of the MK19 EVO weighing in at 665g each. (the MK19 EVO is also available separately in a recreational INT version
Scubapro MK19 EVO first stage:
- Air Balanced Diaphragm
Delivers effortless airflow unaffected by depth, tank pressure or breathing rate.
- Environmentally sealed system
Prevent Water and pollutants from fouling the inner mechanism.
- More Compact & Lighter design
Updated design is substantially smaller and lighter than the orginal MK19 first stage regeulator.
- Externally adjustable intermediate pressure
Allows authorized Scubapro service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage.
- Anti-Freeze Protection (AF)
- New Dry ambient pressure chamber
Equipped with double spring, making it more compact and reliable.
- Chrome plated Brass Body
- Full metal body
Components assure the best thermal exchange.
- Compact dimensions for lightweight comfort
- Two opposite high pressure ports
The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort. Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down). This allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck.
- LP Port Swivel Turret
Four High Flow Swivelling low pressure ports plus one axial Super High Flow Port maximize hose routing options.
High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports.
- DIN/INT first stage configurations
To ensure worldwide compatibility, all Scubapro regulator systems are available in a 200bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions.
- Weight
INT 232 Bar: 885g.
DIN 300 Bar: 665g
- Airflow
At 200bar: 6900 l/ min - 244 SCFM.
- Approvals
EN250: 2014 - CE Certification according to European directive 89/686/EEC. More information, See Scubapro Manual.
Scubapro G260 Second Stage:
The G260 is a new balanced adjustable second stage featuring metal components for excellent cold water resistance (inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector). It's high performance makes it a choice for all demanding divers and it will be the natural choice for G250 fans. The new left-right hose attachment option makes it ideally suited for tech diving configurations.
- Air balanced linear flow valve
Highest performance in any condition.
Increases safety and relaxation on every dive, beacuse it initiates airflow effortlessly and instantly on demand, independent of the cylinder pressure in a controlled and natural manner.
- Precision molded carbon fibre and technopolymer valve housing and components
Low friction, light weight, corrosion and cold water resistant.
Exceeds CE cold water norm.
- Diver adjustable inhalation control
To decrease or increase inhalation efforts for all diving conditions and diver preferences.
- Diver adjustable VIVA
VIVA in the MAX position is a powerful breathing support. In conditions of cold water, strong current or buddy breathing,
VIVA should be reduced to avoid free flow.
- Ideal for "side mount"
The hose can be fitted on both sides of the regulator.
- High flow exhaust valve
Lowest exhalation effort for best breathing comfort.
- Light weight orthodontically designed mouthpiece
Comfortable and reduces jaw fatigue and gum irritation.
- Compact design
Light weight for comfort and travel.
- Big soft purge and oversized controls.
- Super-flow hose
For smooth air delivery.
