Not sure if Scuba Diving is the right choise for you?
Try Scuba is your chance to get wet and experience what scuba diving is all about. Signing up for a Try Scuba is a great way to decide whether getting a scuba diving certification is right for you. We know that once you come in and try it, you’ll love it!
Try it in one of two ways. Pick the one that you feel most comfortable doing.
- SSI Try Scuba — pool experience.
Spend one to two hours in a pool getting a taste of the scuba diving experience in the safety of a familiar setting.
- SSI Try Scuba Diving — confined water experience.
Spend three to four hours along with an SSI diving instructor and experience the thrill of scuba diving. You will be with an SSI instructor who will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to take a first look at the world under water.
SSI Try Diving - pool expirience
We give you the opportunity to try scuba diving in the swimming pool. With a little theory on the edge of bassinnet, information on safety and the exciting diving gear and you're ready for some thrilling action. You will experience the amazing sensation of being weightless and breathing underwater.

The Try dive begins in shallow water where you are allowed to become familiar with the equipment and dive around with our instructors. You will easily find the balance and learn how the equipment works. Then, if you like, you get the opportunity to get a slip by into deeper water, or try our underwater scooter. A dive in the swimming pool is perfect for you are not 100% sure about a diving course is for you!
When you are finished with the Try dive and if you want to become sports diver, the next step is that you sign up an SSI Open Water Diver Course. Once you are certified SSI Open Water Diver your adventure begin. Subsequently, you can participate in diving activities worldwide.

Prerequisites to try the dive
You must be a minimum of 10 years. You should be happy to water and could swim. You must be fit and healthy (Use this link) and you are under 15 your parents must be present at the swimming pool and give a written consent to your participation.
In connection with the registration, it is important that you choose the day that fits you best.
