The latest regulator innovation from Scubapro is the patent-pending Extended Thermal Insulating System(XTIS), ushering in a new era of cold waterprotection for the industry. Available in EVO first stages, XTIS fully insulates the inner mechanical components for extra protection. With it, the cold-water protection rating for MK25 EVO surges another 30 percent.

• Air balanced flow-through piston
  Deliver significantly more air to the second stage than any other first stage, while their performence is totally unaffeced by the changing tank pressure. A balanced System allows the use of lighter and more sensitive components, resulting in ultra fast breathing responce, instant delivery of air on demand and extra high air flow.

  The XTIS System (Extended Thermal Insulating System) hhermally insutates the regulators mechanism agaist the extreme cold generated inside the first stage expansion area. The System works to prevent ice from forming around the moving parts, allowing them to operate correctly under all condition.
• Dry Chamber
  The dry Chamber ensures the best performence in especially cold water by preventing the entry of water inside the water balancing chamber. In extremely cold water condition the formation of ice crystals around the main spring is thus eliminated.

  With this feature, all inter-stage pressure hoses attached with the swivel have the ability to rotate in the best possible position to optimize hose distribution and lessen jaw fatigue.

Maintenance:
A Scubapro Nitrox EN144-3 regulator must be overhauled by an authorized Scubapro technician after 100 dives or not later than every year, whichever comes first. The servicing overhaul is compulsory to preserve the limited lifetime.
