The Jetstream regulator is a combination of our time tested, robust, reliable, servo-assisted, Jetstream second stage along with the Navy choice, cold-water juggernaut, Xstream first stage. The combination makes for an easy to breathe regulator with massive airflow that is extremely durable and trustworthy. For this reason, the Jetstream has been used by the US and Swedish navies as well as the Italian Police.
Poseidon Xstream MK3 first stage:
The objective; design the most reliable first stage in the world.
A patented ruby ball seal is automatically positioned by the floating seat which balances any upstream pressure equally with the pressure adjustment spring, maintaining the benefits of having a perfect ball as the sealing element without the risks that follow with incorrect sealing pressures. This makes the Xstream Range self-balancing, giving the same high performance, irrespective of the pressure in the cylinder.
Added to this the range has a built in anti freeze protection in its construction. The TDA (Thermo Dynamic Antifreeze) ensures that the through-flowing water keeps the ice away, entirely without fluids or extra diaphragms.

Xstream has a built-in Poseidon T.D.A, Thermo Dynamic Anti-freeze, which requires no maintenance.
Using Poseidon T.D.A, a regulator can free-flow air in fresh water of 0ºC (32ºF) for at least 10 minutes and afterwards still be completely unaffected.

The Jetstream second stage is the ultimate in robustness and ease of breathing. It is servo-assisted meaning that like power steering in a car, the regulator helps to ease your breathing. It combines a great work of breathing with unprecedented durability and that is why it is often the regulator for public safety and scientific divers as well as recreational divers who want equipment that will last.
