Xstream Duration shares the performance and specifications from Deco and Oxygene, but is identified by GREEN colour, and approved for use with gas mixes up to 99,95% oxygen. The green colour coded Duration is offered for your safety at the dive site and during the dive, avoiding the risk of mixing up regulators for different gasses.

A patented ruby ball seal is automatically positioned by the floating seat which balances any upstream pressure equally with the pressure adjustment spring, maintaining the benefits of having a perfect ball as the sealing element without the risks that follow with incorrect sealing pressures. This makes the Xstream Range self-balancing, giving the same high performance, irrespective of the pressure in the cylinder.
Added to this the range has a built in anti freeze protection in its construction. The TDA (Thermo Dynamic Antifreeze) ensures that the through-flowing water keeps the ice away, entirely without fluids or extra diaphragms.

Second Stage Xstream 9/16 Duration:
The Xstream second stage is an upstream regulator. The safety valve (OPV) ensures pressure inside the regulator will stay at a point in which for normal breathing in the event of a failure. In the unlikely event that the regulator fails, it will not free flow; it will continue to breathe normally without suffering massive gas loss.
